Nancy Paredes is a Geneva designer of Peruvian origin, who creates personalized Couture hats and headpieces for all occasions. Her designs include special wedding hats, impressive racing hats, gala head pieces, turbans, etc.
Each piece is meticulously handcrafted. Noble materials are carefully selected and are sourced from around the world. To get a unique refined look Nancy uses exclusive designer’s beaded lace fabric, pearls, crystal stones, vintage lace and jewelry, that combines with delicate silk and other sumptuous textiles using modern techniques, which makes her creations stand out.
Self-taught and unique player of her specialization, continuing master classes with renowned London designers, and interconnection with other fashion and hat designers have enriched her formation and experience: “My passion for art, particularly Haute Couture, and my stylist natural skills that I practiced in parallel to my professional activities in an American multinational, allowed me to go for it, at first, in the creation of couture hats and luxury headpieces. For perspective, I worked for 23 years in the global business area. To follow my dreams, I resigned in 2012”.
Nancy’s introduction to fashion creation is influenced by two factors: first, a family and cultural tradition impregnated with know-how and enthusiasm. Then her taste for drawing, that has made a support of her creativity; “My mother, a couturiere, showed me the love for fashion and sewing. From my childhood, the values of art and Haute Couture forged my passion for beauty, sensual structures, style, noble materials, and harmony without renouncing to the essential functionality”.
